A “Must See” Film
I went to see the movie Heaven Is For Real” last night in a local movie theater. I had heard so much about the best selling book and was anxious to see it. Based on a true story, it was a very moving movie. There were some extremely emotional aspects of the film and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The young boy that starred in the movie, Connor Corum, was absolutely amazing. Corum played Colton Burpo, the boy that met Jesus is Heaven and did an outstanding job. He is adorable and I was astonished at the quality of his acting. Greg Kinnear, played Colton’s Dad, a preacher and also did a very believable job.
The film had quite an impact on me and I left the theater feeling a little different about life. As we left the theater there was a group of 5 or six people in a small circle praying. It was refreshing to see people publicly praying. The movie had that type of impact.
I would recommend this film to everyone, whether they are believers in Jesus or not. A heartwarming story of faith, hope and love. Don’t miss it.
My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going.”
